Tilling the soil:
Make a square plot with bricks as borders on an open land or a pot can also be used.
Fill the plot or pot with soil got from a good and clean place which is devoid of any pollutant
The students should then be made to use a shovel or hoe and the soil should be mixed well.
The students should be made aware of the aeration happening during tilling and also how tilling improves fertility.
